How do you decorate a living room, is a question asked by many home buyers and home builders alike. A lot of people who are in the construction business will have their own style of living room, but it's really just a matter of personal preference for most. As far as personal taste goes, when it comes down to it, everyone has their own style and likes and dislikes that make their living rooms what they are. I think that is why it's more of a problem when it comes to decorating living rooms in new builds.

Remember this, your build isn't just your first house, it's also your home and thus, it's your place. If it doesn't reflect your tastes and lifestyle then it's not a house that you should consider decorating. So rather than focusing your attention elsewhere, I would recommend you spend some time thinking about what you really want from your new build.
